I’m currently pursuing my MSc in Microbiology and have a keen interest in immunology and molecular biology. During my internship at ICAR-IVRI, I got the chance to work on techniques like RNA isolation, cDNA synthesis, qPCR, ELISA, HA & HI tests, and serum extraction. It was a great hands-on learning experience that boosted my confidence in the lab. I enjoy exploring how science can solve real problems and am always open to learning new methods or improving my existing skills. My goal is to build a career where I can contribute to meaningful research while continuing to grow as a scientist.
, I got the opportunity to work in the Immunology Department and learn about how vaccines and their adjuvants help improve the immune response in chickens. I also learned how to detect antibodies in chicken samples using different laboratory techniques. This experience helped me understand the complete process — starting from collecting blood samples, separating serum, and performing antibody detection tests, to interpreting the results. Working under the guidance of senior scientists gave me both practical skills and a better understanding of real research work in animal immunology.
