This has been the most lucrative part of my career so far. I have been a long time affiliate, running offers ranging from nutra, insurance, ecom and lead gen. I partnered with an investor from South Korea, who helped me with financing, and together we currently spend around $100-150k/month on Nutra alone (keto, skin care etc). I have worked with a majority of top networks in the affiliate industry, Oasis ads, Bridgeway, Blitz, ScaleClub, Clickdealer, to name a few. My average ROI on Facebook (for Nutra BH, and leadgen) has been around 85% and 40% respectively and on Display traffic, it has been around 110% ROI (didn't try leadgen on dsp yet)
This UK men's care brand was very innovative and unique with their USP, which was used for advertising benefits. I used a quiz-style approach where we created different imaginary personas and targeted users at random. We created different stories where we mentioned how a particular beard style would suit someone. That helped boost our engagement on the ad massively, evidently dropping our CPMs. The regular retargeting process followed where we went after ICs, ATCs and page interaction users.
This was a gig that began on Q3 of 2021. The goal was to get leads at a profitable cost. Since it wasn't a pay per lead (affiliate style model) I was given the target to get leads at around $20-30 (with a room for error of about +/- $3) The actual lead cost we achieved was around $31 initially, on cold traffic, and $18 on retargeting traffic, which resulted in an average of $24.5 per lead. The budget allocated initially was $5k/month, which was soon increased to around $30k/month around Q4 (holiday season, has more conversions for debt traffic)
