About

I am a healthcare AI Researcher and Data Scientist dedicated to building reliable and transparent solutions for healthcare. Currently a final year Computer Engineering student at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, I specialize in modelling complex clinical data. My work focuses on Explainable AI and how we can make machine learning models more interpretable for the people who will actually use them. My research journey started with a focus on accuracy, but it has evolved into a mission to build systems that clinicians can truly trust. As a Research Intern at the E-Health Research Center at IIIT Bangalore, I am developing a reliable pipeline for fetal brain assessment using 3D ultrasounds in collaboration with ICMR and NIMHANS. My previous projects include ICU mortality prediction using the MIMIC-IV dataset and exploring spatial relationships in ECG signals to improve cardiovascular diagnostics. I want to help bridge the gap between research in the lab and real world clinical care. With over seven peer-reviewed publications and collaborations across Spain, Brazil, Italy and the UK, I have built a solid foundation in deep learning and the ethical implementation of responsible AI. I am always looking for opportunities to collaborate on research that prioritizes transparency and patient outcomes. My goal is to build AI not as a substitute for clinical expertise, but as a supportive tool that respects medical judgment and extends its reach.
