Extensive project/program management and evaluation experience with community-based and international development organizations (primarily in Africa and the Middle East). Technical program areas include inclusive and equitable communities, sustainable livelihoods for women and youth, local-level peace-building, small-holder and urban agriculture, and institutional capacity building. Consulting assignments with United Nations and other international public sector agencies have focused on results-based management planning, management and evaluation. Evaluation work has ranged from meta-evaluations to participatory rural appraisals. Specialties: evaluation quality assurance, program development and management, results-based strategic planning and evaluation, M&E systems design, grant and compliance management, new business and proposal development, gender analysis, enterprise development, and participatory research.
Facilitate results-based strategic planning, management and evaluation processes for international public sector agencies and non-government organizations. Recent assignments include an evaluation of UNECA's African Trade Policy Center, a high-level review of the ILO's Field Structure and Operations, an evaluation of a women's savings program for PACT-Myanmar, evaluation quality assurance for UNODC and UNFPA, and the development of an evaluation handbook for UNODC program managers.

Oversaw program development and support for the Foundation’s work in the Middle East and Africa. Functions involved coordinating collaborative work of country teams, providing technical guidance, establishing policies and procedures, ensuring reporting and other compliance requirements are met, communicating successes and lessons learned, and cultivating relationships with partners and donors. Highlights included supporting highly successful conflict resolution and livelihoods projects in Darfur reaching 80,000 people; developing a flagship project addressing the economic rights of survivors of domestic violence in Armenia, and; developing the organization’s monitoring, evaluation and learning system.
Supported initiatives to build the national and global reputation of the program. This involved alumni re-engagement, developing evaluation processes to increase and communicate program effectiveness, strategic planning, proposal development, and guest lectures for international students.
Responsible for raising funds and coordinating the development of new initiatives for one of the country’s leading inclusive early education facilities serving 180 children with diverse abilities. Assignments included developing a performance management process, strategic planning, facilities development, improving IT systems, and conference coordination.
