Junior Product and Brand Manager in the milk category within Arla Denmark. Nov. 2020 - Sept. 2020: Overall brand responsible for the Arla Laktosefri brand and the transition to Arla LactoFREE name and new brand platform on the danish market. Feb. 2019 - Oct. 2020: Primarily working with our lactosefree “Arla Laktosefri” brand in connection with digital and social brand content, category initiatives and campaigns for the milk category, and different brand and product management related projects (new product designs, change of colli size, marketing comm. Claims, etc.)
During this temporary project employment I worked with coordination of a marketing/photo project. As part of the project I was in Cape Town in January where photo and video material was produced.
As a student helper at JYSK my primary reference was to the Head of Brand; Marc Fruergaard. I mainly assisted in coordination of various marketing and branding projects. However, I also worked closely with the Video Producer and Photo Teamleader in relation to content coordination and production. Specific projects: In January I assisted the coordination of a photo and video project carried out in Cape Town, South Africa. Afterwards I implemented the photo and video material in a marketing/branding project across 18 countries. I was also responsible for sorting and uploading marketing video material to a database, Vimeo and the website/webshop. In June and July I assisted in the coordination of a new branding project for JYSK, while also writing my master thesis on dynamic branding and strategic communication.
As a Marketing Intern at JYSK Nordic headoffice in Brabrand I mainly assisted the brand manager in various marketing and branding projects. I participated in almost all internal and external meetings that the brand manager attended and gained great insights into the branding and marketing projects and processes in an international company. I mainly worked on the 2500 stores campaign - and the content developed in that regard (e.g. content site and proofreading process in 18 countries, development of a coffee table book with Agency Spring etc.), a christmas content site, and with coordination for the outdoor project that I continued in my student job (e.g. shipment of products, campaign process etc.)
As a Brand Ambasaddor I represented various brand (Nestle, Starbucks, Arla etc.) during brand activations. I thereby learned how brands may connect with consumers and create powerful brand manifestations through brand activations.
I handled the daily B2C customer service tasks, including first-level support through e-mail, chat, telephone, and social media. I mainly helped customers set up their websites, domains and e-mails – and provided guidance in relation to website features, SEO and general web design. Furthermore, I worked to improve the external communication and customer service by updating guides and support material. I also contributed to the on-going process of defining the way to deliver the best customer service and user-experience. Besides the service related tasks I have also translated and proofread blog posts.
As a marketing assistant I: - managed the company blog - Handled e-mail marketing campaigns - Managed social media; Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn & Google+ - Used Google Analytics to report on website traffic, conversion rates and social media performance (likes, interactions and referred website traffic). - Completed market research (a survey), which provided new insights about user segments and their different requests. The results were used to develop and market new products. - Developed and implemented a new B2B concept (I defined the concept and compiled a reseller guide for small website resellers. I also drafted the new contract and terms and conditions of the agreement, and I had the main responsibility for facilitating the agreement and recruiting resellers into the new B2B programme). - Participated in monthly marketing meetings to report on performance and discuss new initiatives - Participated in a meeting with our Adwords partner regarding new channels, landingpages etc.
