I am an solicitor with over 5 years’ experience in employment law, advising employers and employees in contentious and non- contentious matters. I am also a notary public. I graduated from the University of Aberdeen with an LLB in 2013. I completed my Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Aberdeen in May 2014, and began my traineeship with Stronachs LLP in September 2014.

    I was involved with this project from 2009 to 2013, including an unpaid 3 week placement in summer 2011. My responsibilities during my time with the project included the general running of the office, meeting clients from the free law clinic the project runs, participating in mock trials for primary school children in the Aberdeen area and conducting research for clients. From December 2011 onwards, as the Deputy Director of the Criminal Sector, I was responsible for the organisation of our projects such as teaching classes at HMP Aberdeen and ensuring the sector members received the necessary training, as well as shaping the direction of work the sector undertook.
