The initiative "Main Line for Europe" is working for the rapid expansion of the Paris-Budapest/Bratislava railway axis. The 24 members of the initiative (cities, regions, federal states and chambers of industry and commerce) are actively promoting the expansion of the railway for reasons of local and environmental policy as well as for economic reasons. The stakeholders of the initiative agree that an efficient rail network is a direct precondition for a strong and liveable Europe.
Responsibilities: Representing the interests of the regional economy in the transport sector towards politics and administration, advising member companies on the framework conditions of freight and passenger transport, supervising the transport committee, drafting statements in the transport sector, Conception of information events on logistics topics.
