Hi! I am a research assistant with the van der Heijden Lab at the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute, working in behavioral and systems neuroscience to characterize the development of the cerebellum. Having recently graduated Virginia Tech with a BS Experimental Neuroscience and a minor in Philosophy, Politics, & Economics, I hope to pursue a career in addiction neuroscience. I aspire to expand our understanding of the molecular underpinnings of substance use disorders and advocate for substance use legislation that is informed by both scientific evidence and human compassion.
