As an engineering lead, I love to grow people’s careers through consistent 1:1s, growth conversations, and technical mentorship. I work to ensure that team process is minimal and helpful so the team can focus on solving impactful problems.
Leading a small team of engineers to maintain and improve Evergreen, MongoDB's internal CI System, and its strong integration with GitHub. Between January 2023 and August 2024, I additionally took on Evergreen's UI team to fill a gap for my department and to help align these teams and the product through that period. In August 2024 we promoted a manager to give the UI team a dedicated focus, so I am able to dedicate myself more fully to the future of our feature work and application. Together we collaborate to align the teams towards a consistent and cohesive user experience.
Worked in Developer Productivity to maintain and improve Evergreen, MongoDB's internal CI System.
Worked on the Build Team designing a Go command-line tool to provide a unified view into AWS spending , and I implemented queries of the AWS API in Go to collect real-time data and calculate costs. Additionally, I added functionality to create Jira tickets and add Jira comments to a Go logging library.
Worked on a small team researching features for a new company job application process. Individually, implemented application process’ back-end components using Perl, MySQL, and WordPress.
