I work at the intersection of connection, community, and care, supporting the conditions where belonging can take root. My work has been grounded in lived experience, deep listening, and a curiosity about what helps people feel they belong (and what happens when they don’t) in our workplaces, our communities, and our lives. For much of my career, I've worked with leaders, teams, and organizations to build more inclusive workplaces and healthier communities—places where people feel seen, heard, valued, and able to contribute fully. Along the way, I've become increasingly curious about another question: What sustains the people doing the work of change? Whether we're leading teams, supporting others, advocating for equity, building community, caring for family, or working to create a better world, it's easy to give more than we receive. To pour from an empty cup. To become disconnected from ourselves while focusing on everyone else. Additionally, my work today is grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins with connection—first to ourselves, and then to one another. Through speaking, facilitation, coaching, retreats, and community-building experiences, I help people cultivate the awareness, relationships, and renewal needed to create lasting change without depleting themselves in the process. At its heart, this work is about creating and holding space where people can reconnect—with themselves, with each other, and with what matters to them. Because when we strengthen connection, we strengthen our capacity to lead, to care, to build community, and to create change. Building Belonging: Powerful presentations, intimate customized workshops and thoughtful support (including climate surveys, EDIB strategy development, policy review) to inspire change in organizations committed to the transformation inclusion and belonging can bring - and to creating healthy workplace communities where employees can be all of who they are and fully contribute, and clients are seen and served in meaningful ways.
Curriculum development and facilitation: Developed and delivered LGBTQ safer spaces workshops for educators in Newfoundland and Labrador. Creation of provincial GSA kits for Ministries of Education in Newfoundland and Labrador, Manitoba and New Brunswick. E-Module content development: LGBTQ inclusion.
Facilitation of TGC's Diversity workshop to help the travel industry be "market ready" for the LGBTQ traveller.
