Duties included: Coordinate and write external funding bids to funders such as Sport England. Develop projects for external future funding opportunities. Develop and maintain partnerships with local organisations and funders. Develop and write joint funding bids with partners. Research funding opportunities and developments within the third sector, health and sport. Network with local organisations to raise the profile of Bolton Community Leisure Trust. Work with the Senior Management Team to develop long-term fund-raising strategy. Develop and coordinate consultations to evidence need for funding bids and projects, including focus groups and questionnaires. Data analysis for planning, monitoring and evaluation purposes. Write reports and recommendations for potential projects. Represent the Senior Management Team as and when required on external boards and projects. Support Leisure Centre staff to develop and deliver projects. Establish systems to monitor projects and analyse data for evaluation purposes. Provide fund raising and governance advice to local partners and user groups. Use data systems to monitor the progress of projects and report findings to the senior management team. Assist the project management of externally funded projects. Write monitoring and evaluation reports for funders on a timely basis. Report on a regular basis to the Trustees and to the Senior Management Team. Keep records of funding bids submitted.
