🌍 International Cooperation, Research, and Innovation for Public Policies With a professional master's degree in international cooperation in education and training, I have been working for over 12 years in the fields of international solidarity, public policies, and development. My career has taken me to local governments and NGOs in France, Latin America, West Africa, and Central Africa, where I have contributed to various projects focused on fundamental rights, education, training, and strengthening civil society. Over the years, I have developed expertise in project engineering, management, and technical and financial monitoring, notably within Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos and the Association for Economic and Social Development in Africa. I also supported international solidarity actors in Essonne (diaspora associations, student organizations, local governments, etc.) for three years before joining the International Relations Department at PSL, where I am currently responsible for international partnerships outside Europe and Asia. I am particularly interested in innovative public policies, action research, and strategies that promote the empowerment of women and young people. Within the Directorate of Culture and International Action, my responsibilities include: -Contributing to the development of a strategy to enhance the international attractiveness of the region. -Aligning the department’s attractiveness strategy with institutional cooperation projects. -Conducting a territorial diagnostic of the internationalization of Essonne to define a new public policy on international action. -Assessing grant applications within the framework of annual thematic calls for projects. -Developing technical arguments related to these projects. -Supporting project leaders in the implementation of their initiatives by strengthening their capacities through training sessions or individual guidance. -Creating and facilitating multi-stakeholder networks. -Implementing the Department's Citizenship and International Solidarity Education strategy within the region, particularly as part of FESTISOL. -Supporting the Department’s decentralized cooperation with Mali, specifically with the Cercles of Diéma, Douentza, and Nioro du Sahel. -Acting as the referent for the department’s decentralized cooperation with Ibaraki Prefecture in Japan. -Promoting and fostering the capitalization of projects. -Serving as a member of the partners' board of the Joint Review Committee for the PRA/OSIM mechanism of FORIM since 2021.
Project Support in Burkina Faso and Senegal: -Design and drafting of projects in collaboration with local partners. -Participation in the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of projects. -Supervision and coordination with field agents to ensure smooth project execution. -Administrative and budgetary monitoring of projects to ensure compliance and efficiency. -Writing follow-up and evaluation reports, providing detailed information on progress. -Active participation in field missions to assess and adjust projects. -Prospecting for new funding sources and managing calls for projects. -Researching and developing strategic partnerships to support ongoing and future projects. Financial and Human Resources Management: -Management of a direct team consisting of 2 project officers and 1 civic service volunteer. -Indirect management of 5 civic service volunteers and 2 field agents based in Mali. -Monitoring the administrative management of human resources, ensuring compliance with internal procedures. Financial and accounting monitoring of the association to ensure transparent and rigorous management. -Strategic Monitoring and Organizational Development: Overseeing and implementing the ADESAF communication strategy to increase visibility and impact. -Participation in defining the association's development strategy in collaboration with the Executive Board and the Board of Directors: -Development and implementation of the association’s project. -Reflection on the evolution of the association's socio-economic model. -Prospecting and searching for funding to support the long-term activities of the association.
ADESAF is an International Solidarity Organization (OSI) supporting projects led by local African associations or African diaspora associations in France in the following areas: -Water and sanitation -Education and vocational training -Agro-ecology In Burkina Faso, ADESAF supports a national program led by the municipality of Kokologho and a local partner association and provides technical expertise in the implementation of the following actions: -Development of an agro-mechanics vocational training center. -Support for the creation of income-generating activities in blacksmithing and welding. -Promoting an agroecological transition with local farmers and structuring cereal, Moringa, and Honey production chains. -Development and establishment of a cereal processing unit. -Women empowerment initiatives. -Water and sanitation: drilling and awareness-raising activities for local populations. MAIN TASKS Project Support: -Design and drafting of projects in collaboration with local partners. -Participation in the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of projects. -Supervision and collaboration with field agents. -Administrative and budgetary monitoring of projects. -Writing follow-up and evaluation reports. -Active participation in field missions. -Prospecting for new donors and managing calls for projects. -Research and follow-up on partnerships. Administrative and Communication Management: -Development and monitoring of the association's communication plan (until January 2018). -Coordination of the creation of communication tools and updating of the website (until January 2018). -Contribution to the organization and facilitation of events (until January 2018). Monitoring of the administrative management of human resources. -Accounting oversight.
PROJECT COORDINATION I have retained the tasks described below. INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEER PROGRAM -Recruit new volunteers. -Coordinate the volunteer induction program. -Organize weekly and monthly meetings. -Organize cultural, sporting, and social activities to strengthen the volunteer team and facilitate their integration. -Conduct individual performance reviews and evaluations for volunteers. -Ensure the safety and support of volunteers in obtaining residence permits. -Serve as the liaison between volunteers, local staff, and the administration.
Managing socio-educatives projects for children and teenagers who were placed by the Peruvian Justice in Santa Rosa de Lima Orphanage: PROJECTS I'm working on three big projects the construction of a Polyclinic, the bakery and a primary school for our 110 children we house. • Work closely with the National Director and other staff to identify the needs of the orphanage • Collect and compile required information in order to prepare project description (including prices, risks, bids, plans) and publish it on the intranet of the NGO • Supervise the status of all projects • Track the receipt of funds • Assure the implementation of the project • Work closely with the accounting department • Write final reports and upload them to the intranet FUNDRAISING • Develop the fundraising area • Apply for grants • develop relation with ambassies (French, German, US and Spain Ambassies) and local NGOs and companies VOLUNTEER PROGRAM (Since July 2015) • Recruit new volunteers • Coordinate the volunteer induction process • Organize the living arrangements • Organize weekly meetings • Organize social events on a regular basis • Conduct evaluation interviews of the volunteers • Act as liaison between the volunteers, staff and administration
-Follow-up, monitoring, and evaluation of the Primary School Educational Reform. -Supervision of 6 “accueils périscolaires” (after-school care) and 4 “accueils de loisirs” (recreational centers). -Manage 7 “référents périscolaires” (after-school program coordinators), 6 directors of structures, and 80 activity leaders. -Coordination of the Municipal Council of Children. -Recruitment of activity leaders. -Apply for sponsorships (CAF, Regional Council, General Council, and Evry-Centre-Essonnes Agglomeration Community). -Coordinate transversal social projects such as hygiene and nutritional projects with children.
