I’ve spent the past 20+ years as a marketing, sales, and events leader for Fortune 500 B2B customers, serving as a bridge between C-suite executives. For the past 10 years at LinkedIn, I built out the executive engagement function, from creating a cohesive global strategy & narrative for LinkedIn’s largest customers, driving large-scale executive meetings, white glove onsite briefings and experiences, and offsites. Most recently, I oversaw the management of the Executive Sponsorship Program which helped the Talent Solutions business grow engagements for the top 18 accounts representing $180M in bookings and increasing sales rep NPS by 153%. Throughout these experiences, I’ve been a people manager of 10+ & cross-functional partner to VP+ executives. ● Led global marketing & sales strategy to engage top customers through bridging their executives with LinkedIn executives for global Talent Solutions (LinkedIn’s largest business line), while innovating new strategies to drive multi-business line wallet share across Marketing and Sales Solutions portfolio. ● Hired and managed a team of 4 (program manager, operations, content lead) and collaborated with 30+ Sales, PMM, Product, C-suite leadership, strategic client leaders, and external vendors. ● Led management of the Executive Sponsorship Program for 18 of LinkedIn’s top strategic customers by matching each client with an executive sponsor including LinkedIn’s CEO and 11 other C-suite executives, driving 47% increase in sponsored engagements and 154% increase in NPS for sales reps. ● Launched training program for 10 marketing colleagues on processes, roles & responsibilities, and resources to scale offerings, resulting in 3X increase in Talent Solutions executive engagements with no net increase in headcount. ● Directed end-to-end GTM strategy from prioritizing client stakeholders based on data-driven analysis, partnering with Sales leadership to roll out exec meetings & briefings, compiling insights and learnings in case studies, weekly newsletters, and internal website resources to drive awareness and action. ● Selected as one of 13 Marketing & Communications (M&C) Community Leaders across 1000+ person organization to plan onsite “Moments that Matter” on Company Connect All Hands and M&C All Hands days.
● Promoted to lead global strategy & operations for Executive Briefing Centers across NAMER and all 3 lines of business, leading 350+ customized thought partnership conversations annually between VP+ client and LinkedIn leaders to drive partnerships & revenue growth. ● Managed a team of 9 people. Stepped in as interim co-Director managing a team of 13 people. Drove weekly team meetings, hiring/onboarding/coaching, and yearly planning, defining and owning teamwide OKRs, and cross-functional alignment with EMEA, LinkedIn CMO & COO offices and Microsoft executive stakeholders. ● Led engagement marketing strategy delivering 159% YoY increase in total VP+ engagement events (376) across 254 unique accounts (42% YoY increase) and $2.74B revenue touched. Grew awareness with 500+ of the most strategic internal Product, Sales, Marketing stakeholders through a first-ever Executive Engagement Annual Report. ● Selected as one of 10 org-wide “Culture Champs” in H1 FY23 from several hundred. Spearheaded two initiatives: Job Shadowing: 30 matches across 8 Teams; 7 Learning Sessions with 50-70 attendees/session reaching 400+ colleagues.
● Led a team of 4 and stepped in as interim co-Director for a team of 13 for 6 months. Represented the team at org-wide Leadership meetings. ● Supervised design, development, and implementation of metrics for ROI/impact tracking across the global exec engagement program and a dashboard enabling real-time reporting, strategic planning, and internal accountability. ● Revamped Connected Enterprise strategy and narrative to engage top 26 clients across LinkedIn’s 3 lines of business (Talent, Marketing, Sales), leading a cross-functional, multi-threaded plan for near-term & long-term growth. ● Streamlined processes globally include initiating a nine-part Consultant Best Practices series from May-June 2022 to align on key areas. Success of this program led to monthly series over the coming fiscal years through FY23.
● Drove fundraising strategy through events, communication, and Executive and Board committee engagement, increasing private revenue from $3.4M to $21.6M. ● Grew team from five to 14 staff members and directly managed 2 full-time employees. Partnered with a 40-person Board of Directors, 20-person auxiliary board, 5+ external vendors. ● Led the strategy and execution for the annual luncheon (largest fundraising event), increasing revenue by 38% with record corporate sponsorships and attendance from 300 to 800 attendees. ● Drove research and marketing for a successful $15M endowment campaign. ● Created copy for marketing materials (newsletters, event programs, invitations) and managed all phases of production/publication. Place advertising in local media including Chicago Tribune and Crain’s Chicago Business.
● Created the “Presidents Report” one pager donor update and drove internal & external comms for two presidents. ● Launched and managed an auxiliary Board of 20 people to enhance volunteer outreach, education, and fundraising.
● Managed planning, logistics, and vendor relationships for 6-8 major events annually (e.g. stage presentations, corporate breakfasts, board and association meetings, education events, onsite tours, panels and fundraisers).
