As a communications advisor, I provided government clients with comprehensive public affairs support, including media relations, strategic engagements, online presence, collateral development, and internal communications. My clients supported a variety of national security priorities, including equipping soldiers deployed worldwide with cutting edge technologies and providing independent oversight of the Department of Defense. I provide tailored communications products to fit these differing priorities. As an on-site leader, I designed and implemented communication strategies and tactics to support client objectives, including: - Coordinated targeted media placement in outlets including Foreign Affairs, AL&T, Army Times, and ARMY Magazine. - Designed and implemented strategic engagement protocols for an entire organization resulting in a streamlined planning and execution process; protocols supported the staffing of 660 engagements from its implementation to the time of my departure. - Created and managed over 117 tailored presentations for engagements with DoD senior leadership. - Wrote, directed, and co-produced two versions of the Rapid Equipping Force Overview Video. The full-length video won second place in the Keith L. Ware Public Affairs competition. - Secured and prepared senior leadership for high level public speaking engagements, including at the Association for the United States Army National conference, DSI’s Military Mobile Power Summit, the NDIA C5ISR Breakfast Series, the AIE 3D Printing Conference and the Soldier Technology Expo - Implemented analytics plans for multiple clients using Google Analytics to track and improve traffic to internal and external web platforms - Wrote and implemented multiple communication strategies, including annual plans, campaign plans, internal and external communication plans.
