Sales Specialists are product and solution specialists that are responsible for leading pursuit in the assigned focus areas. Drives proactive campaigns to build the pipeline, uses specialized knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities. Responsibilities: • Responsible for creating and driving their sales pipeline. Capture leads outside of specialization and use closed-loop lead management to ensure assignment and follow- up by others. • Maintains knowledge of competitors in account to strategically position the company's products and services better. • Use specialty expertise to seek out new opportunities and expand and enhance existing opportunities to build the pipeline in and drive pursuit. • Provide support to Enterprise Account Managers and provide input regarding business development and solution expertise. • Development of quota objectives and future direction for defined product category. • Establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with the client, up to and including the C-level for mid-to-large accounts, by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry. • May invest time working with and leveraging external partners to deliver sale. • Directs or coordinates supporting sales activities.
• Services champion for maintenance services, Network management services, Out-tasking Services and Team Empowerment. • Development of business opportunities in Managed Services (MS) • Bid Management for MS services opportunities • Sales Specialist in articulating Dimension Data’s MS services broadly and with in- depth knowledge of Dimension Data’s MS services offerings. • Work with existing Dimension Data accounts to develop new MS business opportunity. • Work independently to penetrate into new accounts in developing MS business opportunities. • Work with local team on the proposal process (solution) and ensure that all technical information and recommendations address customer requirements in a cost-effective manner and with all risks identified well mitigated • Formulate or create service package, services proposal including costing/pricing • Overall responsible for renewal of existing maintenance projects. o Monitor expiry dates and setup notification system to client and internal sales team to initiate renewal process o Prepare pricing and proposal taking into consideration contract changes, upsell options, aggregate options and multi-year options. • Achieve renewal targets. Publish monthly renewal metrics, with a particular focus on on-time renewal rate (based on both Total Contract value and quantity). • Accurately communicates forecasts and sales progress to Sales Director and Sales Unit Managers.
- Work with Local and Regional Bid managers (for both Fujitsu and other partners) on the proposal process (solution) and ensure that all technical information and recommendations address customer requirements in a cost effective manner and with all risks identified well mitigated - Meet financial objectives set at the start of the fiscal year – order, revenue and contribution margin • Formulate or create Service package, solution and technical proposal including costing/pricing • Responsible for designing and implementing Managed Services solutions to customers • Monitor profitability of assigned projects. • Provide technical pre‐sales support, consultation and presentations to sales team in covering customers by assessing customer needs, identifying and recommending solutions, presenting and differentiating services solutions. • Assist Division Manager in developing or creating new service package for the Group • Develop services business opportunities in the Industry or Sales Division assigned - Prepare monthly order and revenue reports
• Responsible for designing and implementing Desktop and Managed Services solutions to customers - Provide technical expertise in the sales process by assessing customer needs, identifying and recommending solutions, presenting and differentiating service solutions. • Work closely with Sales/Marketing teams to support their Technical requirements. • Create services sales opportunities that will exceed the revenue targets • Work with Bid manager (local) on the proposal process (solution) and ensure that all technical information and recommendations address customer requirements in a cost effective manner and with all risks identified well mitigated • Prepares Billing documents and reports • Responsible for Contract formation and signing prior to commencement of services
