Annabell is a student at UC Santa Barbara, double-majoring in Global Studies and Political Science, and she plans to minor in Poverty and Inequality at the Blum Center. She is interested in grassroots movements, voter registration, and international policy. She has past experience on the board of the Mendocino League of Women Voters and was a founding member of the Northern California Youth Policy Coalition. She currently serves as the Chair of UCSB's Associated Students Elections Board and Head Delegate & Trainer for UCSB's Model UN team.
Serves as Head Delegate by representing the organization at conferences, coordinating travel logistics, and training delegates for conference participation.
Selected to support the executive leadership of the UCSB Model United Nations team attending Harvard Model United Nations, assisting with conference logistics, inter-school coordination, and delegate development. Contribute to travel planning, restaurant coordination, and overall conference organization to ensure seamless team operations. Participate in Head Delegate meetings at HMUN to collaborate with leadership from other universities, strengthen institutional partnerships, and represent UCSB in intercollegiate discussions. Facilitate communication between executive leadership and delegates while fostering a positive and professional team culture. Developed skills in leadership, event coordination, cross-institutional networking, diplomacy, and organizational management through hands-on conference experience.
Chair of UCSB’s AS Election Board, overseeing the administration of student elections through fair and transparent processes, including managing outreach emails, communication, candidate coordination, and election-related events such as candidate forums.
Coordinates outreach and communications for UCSB student government elections, ensuring fair, transparent, and well-publicized election processes.
Recorded and maintained accurate minutes for all board meetings, ensuring clear documentation of discussions, decisions, and action items.
