In this role I supported solicitors with case management, preparation of files and court documents across family and criminal matters. Additionally I attended court hearings at various levels on a range of matters allowing me to develop my understanding of different procedures follows at each court level. I was also able to develop an understanding of systems such as ALS and submitting accounts to the Scottish legal aid board.
