About

Sales Operations, Optimizing B2B selling tools, DTC order processing and fulfillment, Data Analysis, Project Management, Production Planning, Sales Support and Customer Service [email protected] When I'm not mountain biking you can find me down by the ocean in the waves of SoCal. I love the thrill and the freedom of the outdoors and have been fortunate to work with such amazing brands including Oakley, Nike, RESQWATER, Boardriders, and currently Liberated Brands. I use every opportunity to cultivate and project the heart and soul of a brand, as well as communicate the brand’s passion, core values, and vision. Over the course of my career I have been the person my co-workers rely upon to hold things together, coordinate and execute special projects, get our products to where they need to be, and to help put out the fires. As the action sports industry has grown and revolutionized our culture, I have also evolved in my roles to take on more responsibilities. My diverse background includes everything from connecting with brand loyalists and consumers, interacting with athletes and their agents, coordinating and completing special projects for product launches and key initiatives, and making sure sales and purchase orders are fulfilled on time. It has never mattered what task falls on my desk - as this often presents an opportunity to be challenged and learn a new skill during the process! ▸ Sales and Operations ▸ ERP Systems: SAP and Full Circle ▸ DTC eCommerce platform DSCO/Rithum ▸ B2B eCommerce & digital marketplace platform Elastic Suite ▸ OpenText/GXS Active Catalogue – Product Data Management ▸ Risk Management | Problem Solving ▸ Purchase Order Processing | EDI ▸ Domestic and Global Logistics ▸ Inventory Management ▸ Supply Chain | Warehousing ▸ Customs Regulations | Global Trade Management ▸ E-Commerce (Shopify and Amazon) ▸ Data Analytics and Reporting ▸ Strategic Planning ▸ Project Management ▸ Vendor Relations | Vendor Management ▸ Customer Service | Retail Sales ▸ Executive Assistance

  • OPERATIONS - Sales Orders, Inventory, Logistics, E-Commerce, Customer Service, and Marketing at Intelligent Beverages, LLC., creators of RESQWATER Proactive Recovery Drink
    Jun 2016 - Apr 2021 · 4 yrs 11 mos

I oversaw Operations, Production Project Management, and Customer Service, and I was in charge of everything involved with getting our products onto store shelves. I ensured every sales and purchase order was fulfilled and taken care of on time and accurately. I managed a warehouse of inventory, logistics, supply and demand, and shipping domestically and internationally. I planned, executed, regulated, and completed the successful production of RESQWATER on a scheduled basis while managing and strategizing for potential and unforeseen risks. When I wasn't driving the movement of our products, I found ways to improve operational processes, save on the budget, discover new avenues for sales, and brainstormed ways to reach new audiences. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . RESQWATER is designed to help the natural recovery process after a workout or celebration. The premium ingredients help flush toxins and replenish nutrients to support hydration and endurance, and will also help protect against muscle soreness, inflammation, and fatigue. • SPORTS MARKETING COORDINATOR - SAP, Athlete Communication, Events Coordination, Product Shipping
      Jan 1998 - Oct 2015 · 17 yrs 10 mos

Working for Oakley was an incredible experience, and it is where I learned how effective I am as a professional in a supporting role. My co-workers described me as the “glue that holds the department together”, and I am proud of that. For 17 years I worked as the Sports Marketing Coordinator, gradually taking on and assisting more sports marketing managers and their athletes. I helped oversee marketing campaigns and promotions for several action sports categories including mountain biking, cycling, skiing, snowboarding, surfing, skateboarding and wakeboarding. My primary role was to serve as the liaison between our professional athletes, their agents and family members, influencers, and Oakley’s marketing managers. These are just some of the amazing athletes I worked with: Motocross athletes Ryan Dungey and Ricky Carmichael; Mountain Bikers and Cyclists Kyle and Rachel Strait, Cameron Zink, Lance Armstrong and George Hincapie; Snowboarders Shaun White and Gretchen Bleiler; Skateboarders Ryan Sheckler and Curren Caples; Surfers Kolohe Andino, Gabriel Medina, and Sage Erickson. My job was often wide-reaching and as the company grew into a major brand, so did my list of duties. I handled the processing of athlete contracts and bonuses, SAP data management, invoicing, social media, email correspondence, logistics, vendor management, payments, and shipping our products to major events such as the Olympics, X Games, and Tour de France. It was imperative that our products make it to their destinations and into the hands of the correct athletes because so much was at stake, and there was no room for mistakes. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work for Oakley. You let me test my capacity, strengthen my confidence into becoming an effective and engaging communicator, and I evolved into a true professional because of it.
