Day-to-day, I respond to questions about court procedures, payment options, sentences and probation conditions by the public and our defendants. I prepare our weekly docket which can include creating forms and running reports, and then organizing all paperwork for the Prosecutor and Judge to work off of. Following court. I record court actions, issue warrants and court orders, records probation and court conditions. In a normal week I process payments, prepare financial and audit reports, draft official court letters and notices, and completes records requests. I also process legal filings submitted by the Prosecutor and attorneys and complete special projects as time allows. I’m always looking for ways to make court operations more efficient so I utilize data reports and conduct statistical analysis to identify areas for process improvements.
As an Alert Desk Anchor, I report on breaking or trending news with little turnaround time, from inside a digital studio. Additionally, I launched, operate and train others on the KY3 Digital Desk broadcast; this podcast-style broadcast blends relevant, local information with entertainment. I Anchor as needed and serve on a team that implements the station recognition program.
As the lead Host on North Dakota Today, the top lifestyle show in the market, I would interview community guests that provide value to viewers with original content. For entertainment, I would engage in dialogue with my co-host(s) on topics from local events to food reviews. I'd work with our Sales team to create and execute partnerships with clients to provide them value through interviews and product demonstrations, and to increase show revenue. I would oversee show production, and plan remote shots, live shows and package creation; this includes delegating tasks to team members, communicating with clients and all related departments, and creating a shooting schedule.
During my time at Valley News Live, I Produced and Anchored several newscasts, all of which experienced boosts to show ratings, by the use of diverse camera shots, engaging visuals and captivating script. On the political and currents events show, I not only produced unique content, I planned and conducted live and pre-taped interviews with local contributors, state and national leaders and celebrities. I worked alongside the show's Host in developing long monologues and in-depth segments on political or legal issues.
I oversaw the day-to-day functions of 11 properties worth a combined $10 million. I managed a team of 10 people in various roles: sales, maintenance, landscaping, custodial, etc. I planned and executed capital and short-term projects, in partnership with vendors and corporate departments. I determined sales goals and created incentive programs, which resulted in my portfolio becoming a leader in new rental contracts and occupancy percentages for the company in the Fargo market. I conducted maintenance and resident audits, worked with residents on escalated concerns, and created development opportunities for my team members to encourage growth and retention.
I met with existing and prospective clients to discuss their business goals and create a marketing plan that would utilize radio and digital advertising to provide as much value as possible. I offered continued support, new opportunities for marketing and I would follow up to make sure that our media mix was optimizing results for them. I wrote and voiced radio commercials for Leighton Broadcasting clients in multiple markets and emceed a top 40 radio show.
My team oversaw the daily operations 200+ people in a call-center environment. In my role, I completed human resource functions including reviewing and approving PTO, leave, and processing hiring or termination requests. I partnered with call center team Managers to structure training and development opportunities, address staff performance or personnel issues, and create projects that would help team members to work more positively and efficiently. I performed productivity audits and worked with the leadership team to implement programs that would enhance call center employee performance.
As an expert in banking compliance, payment systems, account management and legal documents, I served as the highest level of escalation and research for the corporation, including on cases from C-level leadership. I thoroughly documented my work with internal departments to provide customer exceptions, and initiated projects to change internal processes or policies as necessary to eliminate recurring issues. I also conducted compliance audits and completed corporate projects, while provided all relevant documentation to federal government agencies.
I received inbound calls from bank employees with requests for guidance on service procedures, account policies for individuals and legal entities, monetary instruments and legal documentation. I also walked bank employees through deceased customer account processing and estate matters. I trained and mentored new team members, and developed more targeted programs for staff as needed.
