    Competition Economics is a field of economics that deals with market competition analytics. Since I have joined the team in KPMG I have been involved in the market analysis and elaboration of economic and expert reports in the context of cartels and cases of abuse of dominance position among firms. That is, I was analyzing whether the particular market functioned correctly or there was empirical evidence of competition distortion. As an example, in one of the projects I have actively participated in the design of a microeconomics model mimicking the dynamics observed in the Spanish market of public tenders. More recently I have been working on the application of the economics and econometrics to quantify damages arising from antitrust infringements and analysis of business strategies. Main responsibilities: - Data gathering and cleaning - Performing preliminary statistics and data analytics - Data modeling (developing econometric predictive and explanatory models using mainly STATA) - Data visualization - Economic Report creation I have been additionally performing fraud analysis and assessments using forensic tools like Nuix or Relativity (e-Discovery software)
