I am a versatile and talented person of substance. I will excel at any task given to me, not only because I am capable and smart, but I am very very persistent. I have an engineering mind with and artistic eye, and excel at problem solving.
Work includes using AutoCAD to design single family residences, storage facilities, commercial “as-builts,” renovation plans, structural details, and even estimate material costs. Projects have included, new house plans, new construction, renovation coordination, carpentry, and graphic design.
Responsibilities included everything from food prep, ordering, inventory, scheduling, customer service, and bar-tending. We kept tight track of food and labor costs for this high summer volume restaurant, and made constant decisions to maintain profits and customer satisfaction. I was also responsible for detailing checklists and clearly defining job roles and responsibilities.
Responsibilities included all aspects of structural and architectural residential design as well as ensuring the smooth running of the department. I trained new designers, collaborated with customers, contractors, salespeople, and inspectors to ensure code compliance. I coordinated all special order materials for all jobs. I also implemented and maintained a job file management system, maintained office supplies and reviewed and tested new software. Structural design responsibilities included inputting all varieties of plans and producing TJXpert engineered layouts. I would then estimate projects, and discuss any problems or alternate economical solutions with the clients and the salespeople. After selling the job, I would create cut-lists, sales receipts, and coordinate delivery. Before delivery, I would field verify existing/new foundations. I was also responsible for beam sizing using TJBeam, on-site problem management, and educating salespeople and contractors of TJ (iLevel) products and uses.
