Bellevue, Washington, United States
As a Product Designer and an Informatics Major at the University of Washington Information School, I am passionate about creating user-centric and innovative digital solutions that enhance the user experience and solve real-world problems, deeply committed to exploring the intersection of technology and humanity. I am pursuing the Human-Computer Interaction track, where I learn and apply the principles and practices of user research, design thinking, prototyping, and evaluation. My upbringing instilled in me a strong passion for both service and technology, which has driven my pursuit of ways in which technology can positively impact society. As a dedicated student, my mission is to engage wholeheartedly in the technology field and advance it in a manner that upholds principles of justice, equality, and diversity. I have also gained valuable hands-on experience as a Social Media Director at DubsTech, a student-led organization that promotes technology education and community engagement on campus. In this role, I collaborated with a team of designers, developers, and marketers to create and manage the online presence and branding of the organization, using Miro and Figma as the main tools for user story development, wireframing, and mockups. I contributed to increasing the followers, engagement, and reach of the organization's social media platforms by 50% in one year, and supported the successful launch of several events and initiatives, such as hackathons, workshops, and mentorship programs.
