About

I live in Katowice, the capital of Silesia (a post-industrial region, undergoing deep transformation) in Poland. I like to share living and business reality from my city. I’m part of SPIN (Service Process Improvement Network), an NGO that creates accessible spaces to practice business skills and experiment with ideas in Cracow, Poland. I work in a world between accounting and technology, helping teams navigate complex transformations: from ERP implementations to structural changes (mergers, disposals, liquidations) and technology improvements (accounting related apps/platforms). I started corporate work very simple, in an invoice processing team. The work was repetitive, so I joined internal corporate initiatives and gain a habbit of continous learning. End up +15 years in end-to-end accounting (known as general ledger or record to report) in paralel with corporate projects (mainly transitions) and lean improvement initiatives. Today, almost half of a milion people work in Shared Services Centers and Business Process Outsourcing sector in Poland. I'm one of them. I share stories from the corporate world, especially the ones that don’t make the headlines. I talk about learning on a budget and embracing lean thinking. Outside of work, I live simply, walk my dog, read good books, do real-life colorful photography and create handmade scrapbooks.
