Working with Finance Team and assisting with Sales Invoicing, Credit Control, Purchase Ledger, Bank Payments and Expenses.
Responsible for managing a team of 3 Finance and 2 HR staff across 2 entities – Spindrift Consulting in London and Spindrift BV in Utrecht Providing support to the management team and the Finance Director to optimise the financial performance of the business at all times. Monitoring and meeting all external reporting and fiduciary requirements. Supporting the FD in operating an efficient and effective International finance function Producing the necessary financial reports as requested on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis. Supporting all client account teams ensuring timely billing and collection, utilisation of resources and expense management. Motivating and managing other members of the finance team, ensuring a harmonised approach to staff across the organisation. Reviewing opportunities to improve the performance of the business through creation of and improvements to existing processes Ensuring adherence to any external financial reporting, legal and administrative requirements. Ensuring all client relationships are well managed from a finance and administrative perspective to build trust and long lasting relationships. Understanding and ensuring Account Leadership Teams get the agreed administrative support to assist their operational efficiency and development. Monitoring and directing others to act in accordance with company initiatives, processes and methodology. Supporting Account Leadership Teams and Resource Manager to provide required resources across all customers Assisting with contract terms and conditions and administration on RFP and customer contracts Working with account managers on margin calculations for customer proposals
Providing services to several small business and individuals Management Accounts - including trial balance, profit and loss and balance sheet Purchase and Sales Ledger / Bank Reconciliation / Credit Control / VAT returns Advice on outsourced payroll services Assistance with recruitment of new employees / Employee Handbook / Policies and Procedures Help to source Employer Liability and Public Liability Insurance / Advice re Employee Appraisals Advice on training and development of employees / Assistance with redundancy of employees
