About

I am a master’s level social worker with over 14 years’ experience leading and supporting cross-cultural, multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective mental health, psychosocial and protection programs for survivors of violence and unaccompanied children. My career started as a social worker providing direct support to children and families in crisis in the US. Later, I transitioned to counter-trafficking programming, supporting child and adult survivors through the provision of holistic, trauma-informed case management and services. I have had the opportunity to support and lead teams of social workers throughout Southeast Asia, South Asia, Africa and the Middle East, thriving in roles wherein I can support local leaders in applying best practices to empower individuals who have experienced violence.
