I enjoy teaching people new concepts in Public Relations, problem solving, creating innovative ideas to promote a business or person. I enjoy working in public relations in the hospitality industry. My skills are in event planning, writing for the media, crisis communication, creating and executing a public relations campaign. I enjoy traveling, learning and experiencing other cultures and religions. Unfortunately, 2012 brought tragic events-- The shooting in Newton at Sandy Hook Elementary school. It became clear that the community needed healing with interfaith. I was honored to meet 7 religious leaders in my community who accepted my invitation to speak at the First "We're All in This Together" interfaith service. I am seeking Public Relations/Community Relations opportunities. I can assist you with conveying the message you want to convey to your audience. I am also a writer-- storyteller looking for positive people in my community to interview and partner with a local publication. I am in the process of writing a novella.

I work as a sales associate and have represented Macy's in Loveland as a public relations specialist for the Spirit of Women orgnization. I have worked with other associates in Macy's to create a P.R. plan to drive sales for the store while providing education for women's health. 2012 marked the 2nd anual "Need a lift" event. My position at Macy's entails assisting customers, especially women with her needs for foundation garmets. I enjoy working with women to create the image she desires.
I worked with The Organizing For America Campaign-- building strategies and tactics in the Loveland office. I worked as a team with other people on this campaign-- phone banking for the campaign, answering questions from potential voters, listening to potential voters with their concerns and Canvasing for OFA. I spent many hours working to help with my passion of politics and people, becoming stronger together.
Created marketing strategies to promote local events. Worked with local media in publicizing National public figure: Mario, The Peddler Created "Theatre Month for November 2010" strategized and marketed 3 productions: Mario the Peddler, You Can't Take It with You, and Cinderella. Created an executed "Berthoud's Got Talent" event. The event invited the talent in Berthoud to participate in a "talent show" and vote for the best talent monetarily. This event earned almost $600-- and the funds were donated to The non-profit Colorado Cares.
May 2008 Wrote press releases to provide information to the public about community service opportunities for the Windsor tornado victims. Coached volunteers in effective communication and maintaining a calm demeanor.
