About

I help power utilities transition from legacy networks to resilient, data-driven grids of the future. With over 15 years of experience within the TATA Group, I have operated at the intersection of high-stakes engineering and strategic management. Currently, as Deputy General Manager at TATA Power DDL, I oversee a 400+ Cr annual CAPEX budget dedicated to modernizing the distribution network for 2.1 million consumers. My approach combines deep technical roots—from SCADA operations to AIS/GIS substation design—with modern digital tools Prompt Engineering, Python and Power BI to extract actionable insights from Smart Meter (AMI) data. I am passionate about the energy transition, specifically how we integrate DERs, BESS, and EV infrastructure without compromising grid stability. Beyond the utility, I contribute to the broader industry through: *Policy & Standards*: Active member of CEA and ETD 19 committees, shaping national safety and construction guidelines. *Global Thought Leadership*: Presenting research on Climate Change Adaptation and Smart Planning at CIGRE Paris and GCC. *Continuous Growth*: Currently sharpening my strategic toolkit through an Executive MBA at FMS Delhi and leadership training at IIM Indore. I’m always looking to connect with fellow energy professionals, innovators in the DER space, AI/ML applications in Power Distribution Sector or anyone passionate about the future of sustainable infrastructure.
