Master thesis project with the title "The role of insulin-regulated aminopeptidase inhibitors in cognition." at the Department of Pharmaceutical Biosciences at Uppsala University under the supervision of Prof Dr Mathias Hallberg. Investigated the effects of cognitive enhancers on hippocampal and cortical primary cell cultures. Applied different cell viability assays (MTT and LDH), immunocytochemistry, and immunohistochemistry. Carried out qPCR, cDNA synthesis, and RNA extraction from tissue and cell samples. Utilized different microscopic techniques (fluorescence microscopy and high-content imaging device) and statistical methods.

Bachelor thesis project with the title "Age determination of forensically relevant fly pupae with the help of morphological characteristics during development." Institute for Forensic Medicine at Goethe University under the supervision of PD Dr Jens Amendt. Developed a method for age determination of fly pupae from the forensic relevant fly species C. vicina and L. sericata with the help of morphological characteristics. Investigated and characterized fly pupae's morphology with the aid of light microscopy. Bred forensic important fly species and determined their species. Analysed statistical data via R.
