Budapest, Budapest, Hungary
I grew up in a family of computer programmers and began working with computers at the age of four. By seven, I had already written my first game. Long before the Commodore era, I gained hands-on experience with diverse systems such as punch card machines and the ZX81. With more than 40 years of IT expertise, my career has spanned the evolution of computing—from building and administering one of Hungary’s early BBS systems (Budaörs BBS) to leading advanced IT infrastructures in education, telecommunications, and business intelligence. I hold degrees in Computer Science Engineering and Engineering Management. For nine years, I served as System Administrator, Web Administrator, and Computer Technology Teacher at Illyés Gyula High School, where I managed Windows and Novell servers, Active Directory, Exchange, and file servers. Under my leadership, the school achieved first place in Hungary’s RC5 code-cracking competition, alongside numerous other national awards. Over the past 27 years, I have administered and developed Linux and OpenBSD systems, with significant contributions to mobile network administration and development in the telecommunications sector. I also contributed to the OpenBSD operating system project and have taught at both the International Business School and ELTE University, covering subjects such as SSADM, Business Information Systems, Collaborative System Management, and Programming. Beyond academia, I have delivered extensive training in Linux Administration, Business Informatics, SQL, Database Administration, VBA, ECDL, and Cybersecurity (Hacking & Virus Analysis). In my spare time, I designed and operated The HUB, a global webcam-based chat network built on 11 Linux/BSD servers with Mikrotik and Cisco firewalls, supported by a PHP/MySQL (later MariaDB) cluster backend and secured with military-grade DEFCON-level protocols. As a Business Intelligence (BI) developer, I built a complete BI infrastructure from the ground up using Klipfolio, earning recognition as the world’s top Klipfolio BI developer in 2015. I am passionate about IT innovation, system security, and knowledge sharing. My goal is to continue advancing in the IT sector, contributing to cutting-edge projects while expanding my expertise in emerging technologies.
