Hello! I am currently a student at Florin High School and is apart of their LAW Academy. My goal is to work in the health/medical field as an anesthesiologist. I have a broad knowledge of law and public service so I hope to learn more regarding the medical field.
I participated in a 3-week internship under Paratransit Inc. There I learned how to utilize public transportation as well as the process of training youth, elderly, and disabled people to using public transportation. I also was able to watch as bus drivers check everything to ensure the vehicle is in perfect condition before departure as well as learn how dispatch intertwines with them.
I interned at Herman Leimbach Elementary School where I worked in both an office and classroom setting. In the office, I worked under the supervision of the Academic Program Coordinator and Office Assistant, assisting in the preparation of correspondence: creating filing systems, counting money, and a variety of other office-related tasks. In the classroom, I worked under the immediate supervision of a licensed classroom teacher, assisting small groups and helping individual students during independent work time.
