I am a dedicated cybersecurity enthusiast currently gaining hands-on experience as a Junior Network Security Engineer Intern. My focus areas include ethical hacking, penetration testing, and web application security, where I work on identifying vulnerabilities, simulating attack scenarios, and strengthening security measures. Through my internship, I am developing practical skills in firewall configuration, endpoint protection, EDR solutions, DLP, and antivirus technologies. I am particularly interested in web application security and utilize industry-standard frameworks such as OWASP to evaluate and enhance application defenses. Outside of my professional role, I actively engage in continuous learning through platforms like TryHackMe and Hack The Box to stay updated with evolving cybersecurity trends, tools, and techniques. I am passionate about contributing to secure digital environments and eager to collaborate on projects that make a meaningful impact in the field of cybersecurity.
• Practicing Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges on TryHackMe, with a focus on real-world cybersecurity scenarios and hands-on problem-solving. • Strong foundation in Linux, networking, OWASP Top 10, and basic exploitation techniques.. • Actively developing skills in reconnaissance, vulnerability assessment, and privilege escalation techniques. •Passionate about ethical hacking, threat analysis, and committed to continuous learning through labs, simulations, and community engagement.
• Assisted in firewall security policy configuration and management on FortiGate, Check Point, and SonicWall firewalls, including NAT rules, ACL updates, and basic VPN configuration under supervision. • Reviewed firewall logs and policy hit counts to help optimize rules and reduce unnecessary network traffic. • Supported network monitoring activities for MSTC Ltd using Everest EMS, tracking link health and performance. • Identified and escalated connectivity and network issues to L2/L3 teams for resolution.
