Directed second unit of the second season of Dahaad on Amazon prime.
From 2022 to 2024, I directed and writer for Transition — an international scripted reality series unlike anything that’s come before. Conceptualized and crafted over three years, this genre-defying project blends cinematic narrative with the emotional immediacy of reality, set against a vivid global backdrop spanning Thailand, India, and Panama. As Director, Writer, and Concept Originator, I was at the helm of its creative execution — shaping the visual tone, scripting the emotional beats, and driving the storytelling vision across borders and cultures. This was not just a shoot — it was a global journey, marked by bold choices, intimate moments, and the challenge of breaking new ground in hybrid storytelling. Currently in post-production, Transition is slated for release in 2025. While full narrative details remain under wraps, the series is already generating quiet buzz for its daring format and emotional depth. It’s a story that will start conversations — and possibly shift paradigms.
Writer & Second Unit Director – Made in Heaven Season 2 Contributed to script development and dialogue for two episodes in collaboration with Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, and Alankrita Shrivastava. Worked across story structure, character development, and thematic layering. As Second Unit Director, executed supporting visuals in alignment with the primary directors’ vision. Coordinated closely with the creative team to ensure continuity in tone, aesthetic, and narrative flow.
Over six years at one of India’s most influential creative studios, I evolved through key creative roles across landmark projects like Made in Heaven and Gully Boy. Starting in dialogue and script continuity, I grew into second unit direction and story development, becoming a trusted collaborator for directors Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti. On Made in Heaven Season 2, I served as Second Unit Director, helming transitional and emotionally complex scenes across multiple episodes. I also contributed to the writers’ room, receiving story credit for two episodes, shaping arcs that deepened the emotional and social resonance of the show. In Season 1, I led dialogue supervision, supported the showrunners on set as Director’s Assistant, and later took on post-production supervision, helping to refine pacing, structure, and sound in final edits. On Gully Boy (2018), I worked as Script Supervisor for the Second Unit, maintaining narrative and visual coherence in a fast-paced, multi-location environment for one of India’s most globally acclaimed films. These roles reflect a journey from technical detail to creative leadership — grounded in emotional precision, narrative discipline, and collaborative trust. I bring a calm, story-first approach to every frame, always in service of the bigger picture.
Worked under acclaimed director Alankrita Shrivastava on this bold, character-driven feminist drama starring Konkona Sen Sharma and Bhumi Pednekar. As Script Supervisor, I was responsible for tracking narrative continuity, managing scene progression, and supporting creative alignment across a multi-location shoot. Premiered at Busan International Film Festival and released globally on Netflix, the film was praised for its fearless storytelling and authentic performances. Proud to have contributed to a project that challenged conventions and left a lasting cultural imprint.
