As a Talent Acquisition Intern at Genuine School, I supported the recruitment process by helping to identify, attract, and hire top talent for various roles within the organization. I collaborated closely with the HR and leadership teams to understand staffing needs and ensure a seamless hiring process, from job postings and candidate screening to interviews and onboarding. I gained valuable experience in sourcing candidates, conducting initial interviews, and assisting with the development of recruitment strategies to attract diverse, qualified candidates. Additionally, I contributed to building a positive employer brand by ensuring a smooth and engaging candidate experience. As the Project Manager of #RefugeePanorama, I led initiatives aimed at raising awareness and driving positive change for refugees through innovative and impactful projects. My role involved overseeing the strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of programs designed to highlight the challenges and resilience of refugee communities. I collaborated with cross-functional teams, NGOs, and advocacy groups to create educational campaigns, organize events, and manage social media platforms that amplified refugee voices and fostered a more inclusive dialogue around migration. By engaging with diverse stakeholders, I helped to create impactful narratives that promoted empathy, understanding, and actionable solutions for refugees. In this position, I gained valuable experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and content creation, all while making a meaningful contribution to the global conversation on migration and refugee rights.
I developed and led my own project under Arbeit und Leben DGB/VHS NW, focused on migration to Germany from various countries. The project aimed to explore the experiences of migrants and their integration processes. As part of the project, I conducted in-depth interviews with migrants, gathering personal stories and insights about their journey and challenges in integrating into German society. Based on these interviews, I organized a comics exhibition and a youth workshop to foster greater understanding and acceptance of migrants within local communities. The exhibition featured a series of comics that illustrated the diverse migration experiences and perspectives, which you can explore here: Comics Link. The goal of the workshop was to engage youth in meaningful conversations about migration, cultural exchange, and social inclusion, helping to bridge gaps and build empathy.
