In this role in Gartner Executive Programs I worked with our CIO clients on their key initiatives to help them maximize the benefit of Gartner advisory and research resources. This role involved brokering research requests and inquires from client and delivering responses customized to the clients’ business context.
As a researcher and lecturer in the area of distributed systems I had a special focus on the Internet of Things, planning algorithms and sensor networking. I also advised state agencies such as the National Roads Authority of Ireland and Dublin City Council transportation office in the area of Intelligent Transportation Systems and Data Integration. I lectured at undergraduate and postgraduate level in software engineering, computer networks, and pervasive computing.
