I’ve helped take companies from early product development through hypergrowth, IPO, and acquisition - most notably as an early engineering leader at SuccessFactors (IPO; acquired by SAP for $3.4B) and a founding team member at Vlocity, one of Salesforce’s fastest-growing industry cloud platforms (Forbes Top 100 Cloud Company; acquired by Salesforce). At Salesforce, I led and advised teams building next-generation products across industry clouds, emerging technologies and distributed systems such as Web3 and blockchain. Today, I focus on helping financial services firms simplify how they work with data, documents, and workflows, so advisors and business owners can scale their practices without adding complexity. My work centers on building trusted, practical solutions that augment human judgment, improve operational efficiency, and support long-term growth.
Founded and led an AI platform focused on improving underwriting and operational workflows in life insurance and financial services. Built and deployed LLM-driven systems for data extraction, risk assessment, and workflow automation in regulated environments. Led product, engineering, and go-to-market from inception, including enterprise integrations and production deployment of AI solutions. Focused on translating AI capabilities into reliable, real-world applications.

Led the next generation of Vlocity UI strategy leveraging SalesForce Lightning Web Components, Standard Web Components, Typescript, and JavaScript SDKs that aligns with our digital transformation strategy with a focus on being framework agnostic, customizability, reusability and performance. Led the development of our Telco Product Admin Console, CPQ applications, B2B and B2C commerce application to meet challenging customer requirements. Led multiple development teams of 25+ members in US and India.
Led the development of Vlocity configurable UI framework that powered vertical application development. Defined Vlocity's hybrid mobile technical strategy and platform for building configurable vertical mobile apps. Built up US and India development teams to support Vlocity product initiatives.

Managed and scaled a global team of 35+ with managers and engineers in US, China and India. Oversaw the development and releases of multiple core products at SuccessFactors used by 3500 customers and 15 million users. Incremental performance improvement on large goal data import using multi-thread and batch updates for over 20 million rows of data. Responsible for Sales Desk initiative for all customer sponsored enhancement requests across all products to ensure clear commitments, status and communications to customers, product management, development and QA teams.. Streamlined and drove development and QA processes to ensure efficient delivery of projects from development to deployment. Provided direction and vision for the next-generation core products with primary focus on better user experiences and technologies. Built and managed a global engineering team of 19 members in US, China and India. Interviewed, hired and staffed 8 highly talented engineers in Hyderbad, India in 15 days. Managed core SuccessFactors’ modules – Performance Management, Goals Management, Multi-Rater and customer-paid projects which generate over 70% of company revenue. Ensured team members adhered to company’s development processes and coding guidelines. Worked closely with mega enterprise customers to ensure successful implementation and rollout of their HR processes.
Hands-on coding on most of the products in backend Java, EJB, Oracle database, Seam and UI in JSP, JavaScript and HTML. Designed and implemented a mass data import Quartz job for very large data set for mega customers like Wachovia, Walmart and Petco. Led and reviewed technical designs for projects. Designed and implemented next-generation UI – single-page app - for Goals management module in Seam, JavaScript and XHTML to increase usability, better user experience and to reduce the number of clicks. Designed and implemented role-based User Hierarchy visibility for Lehman Brothers. Performance tuning of Database SQL using Explain Plan. Ensured good quality of code of the team members.
Designed and implemented Soap/Axis web service objects and clients to expose internal API for customers. Implemented PDF reports for General Motors for Performance Manager Summary Reports using iText. Designed and implemented Single Sign-On (SSO) for seamless integration of SuccessFactors product suites with customers' intranet using SAML, MD5, DES/3DES. Led small/medium business development team of 5 engineers.
