- Ensure the Project Systems Assurance on the Cairo Monorails project and coordinates all Systems Assurance activities (Realiability Availabiltiy, Maintainability and Safety, EMC, Noise and Vibration, Fire Life Safety and System Evacuation) throughout the project. - Lead, coordinate, and consolidate the System Assurance-related activities within the Cairo Monorail Consortium. - Ensure that the System Assurance-related Contract requirements and obligations are met by the Cairo Monorail Consortium in a coherent and satisfactory manner. - Support the Cairo Monorail Consortium Core Team in all matters related to System Assurance. - Manage the RAMS activities and related deliverables in accordance with Quality/Cost/Delay commitments on the Cairo Monorails Project. - Define safety requirements allowing to reach an acceptable level of risks as per the company Safety policy on the Cairo Monorails Project. - Coordinate the different Railway Safety and RAM stakeholders working on the Cairo Monorails Project for the relevant scope when applicable. - Apply the applicable Company Safety processes & instructions. - Main contact for RAMS/SA scope of work and manage RAMS interface with project partners and the Independent Safety Assessors; - Manage Audits to suppliers to verify the compliance to the RAMS System Assurance process. - Responsible to establish the System Assurance strategy, manage the Subsystems activities and ensure that System Assurance process is applied for the project; - Ensure critical path management and alignment of RAMS/SA schedule with project master plan - Ensure a proactive risk management for early detection of cost, schedule, technical and resource issues and proposal of a recovery plan - Responsible to manage the list of RAMS activities in line with the RAMS schedule agreed with the RAMS team; - Review of the RAMS Analyses for the main Subsystems in order to verify the compliance to the RAMS System Assurance Process and Requirements
- Leading the delivery RAMS for entire rolling stock and for its main mechanical, electrical and electronic components - Main contact for RAMS scope of work and manage RAMS interface with project partners and the Independent Safety Assessors; - Attend audits foreseen for pertinent certification processes; - Manage Audits to suppliers to verify the compliance to the RAMS System Assurance process. - Support the Customer RAMS System Assurance Manager listing all Rolling Stock RAMS requirements by using Safety Requirements Traceability Matrix (SRTM) managed in Rational DOORS. - Responsible to establish the Rolling Stock RAMS System Assurance strategy, manage the Rolling Stock RAMS System activities and ensure that Rolling Stock RAMS System Assurance process is applied for the project; - Ensure workload management with regular updated workload and analysis of deviations; - Ensure critical path management and alignment of RAMS schedule with project master plan, to avoid unplanned interruption of activities in RAMS stream; - Ensure a proactive risk management for early detection of cost, schedule, technical and resource issues and proposal of a recovery plan - Manage & report on the RAMS schedule, RAMS budget and plan contingencies when required; - Responsible to manage the list of RAMS activities in line with the RAMS schedule agreed with the RAMS team; - Manage & report on the RAMS schedule, RAMS budget and plan contingencies when required; - Obtain periodic updates from RAMS team regarding progress towards meeting RAMS activity deadlines. - Review of the RAMS Analyses for the main Rolling Stock Subsystems (Bogies, Propulsion, Passenger Doors System, HVAC and Smoke detectors, Brakes System, Auxiliary Power, Current Collector, etc…) in order to verify the compliance to the RAMS System Assurance Process and Requirements - Perform RAMS Analyses at Rolling Stock Level - Effectively define and manage initial provisioning and replenishment of spares
- Be the main contact as Rolling Stock Technical Interface against the Engineers of the Client and the System Integrator. - Schedule, lead and attend periodic Rolling Stock Technical Interface meetings with the Engineers of the Client, to identify possible Rolling Stock technical issues and to define an action plan to solve them and to provide follow up on the already identified actions -Support the Procurement Manager in order to o proactively search for and identify opportunities for cost reduction and through discounts wherever possible; o benchmark the performance of suppliers’ product/service against available statistics/indicators and/or competitors and identify areas for improvement; o manage Request for Proposal process for purchasing and contracting o ensure contract negotiation and administration
- Lead the delivery of RAMS for the main mechanical, electrical and electronic components - Ensure the application of standard processes and guidelines, in order to manage internal and external interfaces identifying synergies with Work Package Leaders of the other RAMS teams - Ensure the application of standard Lessons Learnt process and standard process to address and manage potential RAMS issues - Ensure workload management with regular updated workload - Ensure a proactive risk management for early detection of cost, schedule, technical and resource issues and proposal of a recovery plan. - Design, implement and monitor standard function processes and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective achievement of the following objectives: o Ensure that the Multi Technology projects are delivered in compliance with RAMS guidelines and quality standards within the budget and schedule, with proactive involvement since the early phase of project o Collect workload, budget, planning and deliverables from all other RAMS functional departments (WPLs) and act as a RAMS single point of contact towards the project o Ensure deliverables according to the processes agreed with Engineering &Commissioning and Development o Ensure RAMS and V&V activities in compliance with national and international standards o Manage relationships with Clients and Safety authorities for System and Multi Technology projects on RAMS matters o Cooperate with other RAMS Teams in order to ensure synergies, perform relevant project activities and define and apply RAMS policies o Cooperate with others team for what concerns the ongoing improvement, RAM analyses, Tools, Certification, Bidding, standardization activities and in providing effective planning during the bidding and delivery phase. - Review of the RAMS Analyses for the main Subsystems in order to verify the compliance to the RAMS System Assurance Process and Requirements - Perform RAMS Analyses at Metro System Level
Provide support to the Ansaldo Honolulu Joint Venture (AHJV) Project RAMS System Assurance Manager and Safety and Security (S&S) Certification Manager in order to manage critical RAM and S&S issues and for the: - development of a System Preliminary Hazard Analysis - verification of Technology Certifiable Items Lists (CILs) and Certifiable Elements Lists (CELs) in accordance to U.S. Standards - formal check and acceptance of Subsystems Safety Analyses and documentation
Supporto al RAMS Manager nella gestione delle attività RAMS di sistemi Metropolitani Driverless; Realizzazione e Verifica delle analisi RAMS dei principali sottosistemi di un Sistema Metropolitano Driverless in accordo con quanto richiesto dalle norme CENELEC EN-50126 e EN-50129; Supporto nei safety meeting con Safety Assessor e Commissioni di Sicurezza per la gestione dei processi di certificazione Safety.
