Studying the aetiology of Huntington's disease using stem cell modelling.
With the STEM-PD clinical trial underway, the lab is studying the immunogenicity of RC17-hESC grafts in humanised mice. I am assisting by optimising immunofluorescence protocols.
Evaluating patient questionnaires using crosstabulations, identifying prodromal patterns and applying statistical tests to observed associations. Increased understanding of MSA’s Parkinsonian/Cerebellar subtypes and the symptomatic stratification of complex neurological disorders.
An SSC for students at Barts and the London School of Medicine in partnership with London Ambulance and Air Ambulance services, assisting patients requiring emergency care.
