Angel An is a Vice President on Morgan Stanley’s Firmwide AI team, driving the strategy, design, and deployment of generative AI across the firm’s institutional businesses (IBD, GCM, and beyond). She leads the 0→1 buildout of AI agent platforms that automate complex banking workflows and enable data-driven decision-making at scale. Angel also spearheads the firm’s AI ecosystem strategy—evaluating frontier AI vendors and collaborating with OpenAI to accelerate enterprise adoption. Previously, she was a venture investor and tech investment banker. She founded ACE Women’s Collective, a nonprofit advancing women’s leadership and empowerment.

- AI Product Management: Lead end-to-end development of generative AI products in partnership with OpenAI and internal engineering teams. Products include multi-agent systems that enhance banking workflows and an AI intelligence platform driving firmwide adoption. - Ecosystem & Vendor Strategy: Own the evaluation and onboarding of next-generation GenAI vendors, selecting partners that power high-impact client deliverables such as slide, image, and video generation. - Cross-Functional Leadership: Build trusted relationships with senior leaders across tech, business, and governance to shape AI strategy and accelerate adoption across divisions.
- Developed an investment thesis on AI-First GTM Tech space in collaboration with Kleiner Perkins - Developed GenAI partnerships and open-/closed-source strategies and presented them to OpenAI - Worked with Prof. Mark Roberge (ex-CRO, HubSpot) to interview 20+ Chief AI officer-equivalents
- Strategy: Advised 20+ startups on customer segmentation, pricing, and fundraising, leading to $60M+ raised. - Operations: Owned day-to-day operating cadence; led continuous improvement, scaling the program 2x YoY. - Investing: Led due diligence, market research, and memo writing, supporting investment in 30+ startups.
