Configuration Duties: Provide technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and software. Perform Ghost/re-image of hard drives for use on the NCCA domain. Configure software that is part of the NCCA baseline. Monitor and respond to hardware and software problems utilizing a variety of hardware and software testing tools and techniques. Install and configure network hardware and software. Administer network security. Back up file server data/disks. Provide installation, maintenance and troubleshooting support of voice, video, and/or data communications networks Provide network troubleshooting and support. In addition to these duties: Screen, refer and diagnose internal inquiries and work requests as they relate to maintenance of personal computers and related systems. Assist with the installation, configuration, and upgrade of computer hardware and software. . Provide end-user software troubleshooting and support. Applies basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions. Assist in the administration of e-mail systems. Provide phone and help-desk support. Participate in special projects as required. TS/SCI clearance. Certifications: A+, Network + and Security +
