After graduation she served as a family law litigator, learning enough about litigation to know there had to be a better way to deal with family problems. Angela brings a welcome objectivity and practicality to the table whenever possible. Angela has regularly been recognized as an exceptional trainer, mentor and team player. Angela is thoughtful and caring in her approach to family law matters and prides herself on the satisfaction of her clients. Angela uses her altruistic passion, professional training and experience to help her clients navigate the challenging issues of family law while using creative ways to achieve balanced resolutions that meet everyone’s needs. She received her law degree from DePaul College of Law. Angela obtained a double bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Rhetoric from the University of Illinois and a teaching certificate, a license which she keeps active, from NorthEastern Illinois University in Chicago. Angela regularly attends Collaborative, Mediator and Family Law seminars to hone her skills and to keep up on cutting edge resolutions, issues, laws and technology to advance the cause of those who seek her assistance.

We have a reputation among our colleagues as being “tough but fair.” We assist clients in identifying and prioritizing their concerns, and evaluating settlement options from a cost-benefit perspective. We have significant expertise in helping clients and their spouses in the areas of property valuation, child support, child custody and maintenance. Although we attempt to keep a case out of court when possible, we are also skilled litigators and regarded as a force to be reckoned with in the courtroom. Educating clients on the cost of litigation in terms of money, time lost, and emotional stress is a priority. Angela's clients clearly understand their legal options and various resolutions which can include litigation. Angela continues to take advanced classes on all legal issues to ensure she is at the cutting edge of legal knowledge. She practices in Cook, Lake and DuPage County. She is on the Guardian Ad Litem list for Lake County. Angela continues to take advanced legal courses on mediation to offer these options to her clients who leave her counsel fully educated. Angela is also a licensed educator, deemed "highly qualified," with the state of Illinois. She keeps all of her license active.

Regularly presented LiveNote software at trade shows, national panels, large firm attorney and paralegal groups and judges. Angela regularly traveled to other account executives territories--New York, Dallas, San Antonio, San Francisco, Louisville and Minneapolis, fielding questions not only as an account executive, but as a highly qualified attorney.
