Work as part of a dynamic, global recruitment team to hire UX Designers, applied a human centered approach to pitching and engaging with potential management candidates from our sourced, referred and applicant pipelines, while providing a positive and seamless candidate experience. • Facilitate, coordinate, schedule, and guide all stages of the recruitment process in a virtual environment. Through in-depth interviews, aligned candidate’s indicators of success, skills and interest with the best team and position at shopify. • Review and write candidate feedback, summaries, and track all information in the Applicant Tracking System. • Collaborate and partner with hiring managers to identify and secure top talent. • Provide feedback, consultation and guidance throughout the recruitment process. • Recommend and manage short-list interviews, recap discussions, and offer process, successfully work through complex offer negotiations, as well as decline candidates and provide feedback where appropriate. • Successfully, and quickly established working relationships while working remotely and globally. • Work collaboratively with both team members, hiring managers and internal teams to make the best decisions and have the highest impact in our work, for shopify and its merchants.

Provide efficient and effective full cycle recruitment support for high volume job requisitions across multiple business units within Ledcor, primarily Aviation, Marine, Transportation, Finance, HR and LTS. • Worked closely with the HR Director and HRBP to ensure compliance with Collective Agreements for unionized positions. • Liaised with Total Rewards & Compensation to ensure positions are levelled and aligned correctly within current pay structure before commencing recruitment. • Drafted offer letters and supporting offer documentation for new hires and internal promotions/ transfers. • Coordinate with Human Resources Assistant regarding onboarding of new employees and pre-employment requirements including references, D&A testing, and background checks.
• Managed and lead the first external recruitment and selection campaign for Trainee Train Drivers. Working alongside the GM – Service Delivery and the broader Senior Leadership Team, I managed all aspects of a high-volume end to end recruitment campaign, including coordinating online aptitude assessments, in person psychomotor assessments, behavioral interviews, national probity police checks, medical examinations and reference checks. • Through consultation with both the Service Delivery Team, HRPB, Recruitment Manager and external testing providers I successfully managed the candidate experience through Taleo and provided weekly updates and reporting to the Senior Leadership Team. • Nominated and recognized by the GM – Service Delivery for my work on the Trainee Train Driver recruitment project.
