Client: BP Exploration Operating Company Ltd, North Sea Region Team Lead – Sourcing & Vendor Management (13 FTE’s & 2 teams) May 2011 – Feb 2015 Identifying business requirements, setting priorities and defining integrated strategies to deliver business objectives through managing partners, supplier relationships, category plans and sourcing projects to deliver value across BP's upstream business. Running sourcing events (RFI’s & RFQ’s) through Ariba & involved in negotiations with the suppliers for contract finalizing using the BP category management process. Working with suppliers while increasing quality and service levels, in line with business objectives. Identifying gaps in existing contracts by analyzing PO’s & invoices as well as identifying the non-contracted spend. Conducting spend data classification and analysis, while identifying new commodities for contracting and also controlling the third party expenditure to ensure proper compliance to contracts. Providing leadership and oversight to the Vendor Master Process of adding/amending/blocking suppliers. Devising the go-forward strategy for Backbone (SAP) implementation. Conversion of existing contracts into SAP compatible data (Pricebooks). Other substantial projects in Genpact for the Supply Chain & Engineering Services Clients: GE Digital Energy & GE Transportation Alternate Supplier Identification: Identified new potential suppliers and performed capability analysis for supplier rationalization. Spend Analysis: Commodity, part & supplier level spend analysis to identify deflationary & inflationary suppliers/parts. Also, created buyer level performance dashboard using analytics to publish weekly insight reports.
