I am passionate about technology and love working with people to create products and services that add value to the users and businesses. My diverse set of experiences have helped me gain broad range of skills over the years. I use these skills to tackle business and technology problems in a structured way. Currently, I am pursuing my masters in System Design and Management at MIT, with the focus on Technology Strategy and Business Development. Prior to MIT, I spent more than 5 years with Fiserv in product design and development, helping them build their eCommerce products. I also worked with World Bank on their project for empowerment of rural farm women, where I helped farm women from across 8 different villages establish micro enterprises to supplement their family income.

Helped setup a new software development team in Costa Rica to help Fiserv expand its operations in Latin America and tap the near shore outsourcing capabilities provided by the country Led a team to develop processes for testing automation software that saved $2M by reducing time required for testing Studied historical data to analyze development and testing processes. Created proposals to streamline processes using Six Sigma management practices, reducing the number of bugs reported in software by 35% Reduced training time by more than 50% by developing an information portal and a micro-blog commune which provides easy access to information for new joiners Employee of the year (“Annual Achiever”) award in 2011 in Fiserv (0.6 % of the employees get this award) Employee of the quarter (“Shining Star”) award in 2010 (top 0.8 % of the people get award every quarter)
Worked with 600 farm women from 8 different villages in Punjab to help them setup various micro enterprises. Helped Establish 10 agro based enterprises such as Dairy co-operatives which removed the dependence of these women on expensive external sources of basic necessities Established 40 Self Help Groups and helped them save $3K over a period of 6 months by teaching basics of financial management. This pooled money was utilized to get microfinance loans from National Agricultural Bank (NABARD) worth $12K Organized 25 technological interventions where the women were provided tools such as racks, sickle, and maize sheller which helped these women execute their agricultural tasks more efficiently
Conducted a series of presentations in companies across different sectors such as Telecom, Automotive and FMCG for portfolio management software, FOCALPOINT. Consequently, signed a deal worth $1M from Honda SEIL India
