A driven individual who has the heart and passion to serve the community, work with people from diverse background and the empowerment to work towards shaping a better version of himself through growing and learning from failures. A curious individual who is eager to explore the interactions and integration of drugs in a clinical and pharmaceutical setting, aspiring to work with professionals to increase the quality of Singapore healthcare system with the apt of technological tools and ensure the elderly population in Singapore to age meaningfully. He enjoyed learning the interactions of organic compounds back in Junior College studying Chemistry and the power of stem cell therapy in treating cancer when studying Biology. With the degree he is pursuing in University, he aspires to work as a licensed pharmacist to contribute to the society meaningfully and make a significant impact in Singapore healthcare industry in years to come. He enjoys reading and leisure writing (in Chinese though) at his free time. He loves spending time with his family and friends through simple communications and gatherings. Often or so, he would volunteer at organisations that are targeted towards enhancing the quality of living for the elderly and underprivileged families, hoping to spread happiness, hope and positivity.

      For achieving an outstanding results from JC1 Promotional Examination, I was fortunate to join YIJC's Talent Development Program and be exposed to multiple career and scholarship talks to provoke thinking critically about the causes that I care about as I explore multiple pathways beyond Junior College. I have: - Participated in Internationalization and Current Affairs Seminar, Challenge Workshop with YIJC ECG Counsellor, and SMU Interview Skills Workshop - Participated in Micro Job Taster session as a Social Media Executive to experience planning and designing advertisements across different social media platforms - Visited Nanyang Technology University for their University Scholars Programme - Visited NUS College for their curriculum I am thankful for the college to provide such enriching experience for me to explore and navigate various pathways that are available in University, and the aspects of working lives in different career prospects. From the wise words of key speakers invited and my teachers, I had an invaluable time during all the programmes as I learnt how to prepare for interviews which are critical to University and future job researching.       As a junior councillor in 2019-2020, I was involved in a video production, in partnership with Project Chulia Street, to advocate the importance of caring for migrant workers in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic. Not only that, I was selected as an emcee to host Chinese New Year concert alongside with my senior councillors to inculcate the festive spirit. As a senior councillor in 2021-2022, I was involved in Secondary One Orientation Camp as an Orientation Group Leader in 2021 to induct new students to the school culture, as well as a key member in planning the annual Council Camp to teach junior councillors about events planning, management and facilitation skills. I was fortunate to take part in Global Youth Leaders Summit 2021 to enrich my learning as a leader from the wisdom of various international speakers during the event. I was also involved with a dialogue session with MOE's Divisional Director in 2022. Throughout my 4 year leadership journey, I learnt to be a team-player and a team-leader to facilitate, plan and execute school events to inculcate strong school spirit among the students. Critical thinking and conflict management skills became an essential ingredient that shaped me into a more passionate and organised individual as I strived to establish a positive working environment and strong camaraderie in a team setting. I gained confidence through multiple exposure in public speaking, learning how to present myself better at a large scale setting. I treated failures as part of learning, growing and developing to become a well-rounded leader, who is ready to contribute and serve the school, community and society.
