My aspiration is to have a challenging and rewarding career in logistics. I have 4 years of experience in the aviation field in both export and import cargo. I am versatile in that I can work on the floor or in the office, when necessary, to complete our task within the timeframe. I am adaptable to working in a new environment, due to working overseas, and is capable of learning new skills quickly.
• Guiding the ground support equipment (GSE) to the designated areas • Loading and unloading baggage/cargo and mail from the bulk area • Providing special handling with live animals, dangerous goods (DG) and valuable items • Assisting with transportation of baggage onto tractors
• Reading booking sheet and flight plans • Leading export team in building flights and delegating roles to each member • Loading and unloading trucks with cargo • Building cargo on PMC’s and AKE’s • Breaking down import cargo and moving to relevant location • Using cargo management system (Hermes) for export and import operations • Moving units to hoist using airport electric pallet truck
• Setting up site and planning route for the day • Stacking and wrapping products on palettes • Moving palettes with electric forklift • Decanting and sorting clothing. • Checking container manifest and ordering products accordingly.
• Loading and unloading trucks with cargo • Building cargo on PMC’s and AKE’s • Breaking down import cargo and moving to relevant location
• Corresponding with engineers, builders and architects. • Providing pool designs and specifications for residential homes. • Designing sewer plans and determining if the proposed house can be built. • Checking structural members, piers and slabs during site inspection.
