Typically running multiple projects with challenging timescales using a range of methodologies including APM, PRINCE2, Agile & Scrum. Programme Management: Led a team of project managers that delivered an annual a portfolio of 150 UK & International, with a combined value of £10-15 million. Change Management: Successfully completed a significant number of very high risk changes for Sky, Cisco and Arqiva requiring compliance with rigorous change control processes, extensive stakeholder buy-in, risk management and rehearsals, often overnight and lasting over 12 hours. Service Management Change Programme: Led a successful 2 year change programme to deliver a new ITIL based service management system to Arqiva, from concept, requirements gathering, vendor selection, configuration workshops, data cleansing, migration, training, and roll-out to 9 international offices. Stakeholder, Interdepartmental & Matrix Management: Regularly navigated the challenges balancing sales and marketing pressures with project and operational constraints. Extensive experience with matrix management environments and remote working. Using a combination of transparency, pragmatism, experience, a flexible approach and clear communication. Operations: Set up an international operations for Asia Pacific, including regional installation and support teams, operations centre and project management team based in Singapore. Delivered business critical Infrastructure refresh for Broadcast Head End encompassing VOD, IT, OTT, PDL, Storage and Monitoring. Upgrade of Head End Progressive Download (PDL) infrastructure to HPE G10, REHL7, Oracle 18 database. Upgrade of end-of-life IBM storage arrays to new SSD/flash storage and replacement (Cisco) V7000 SAN switches. Dataminer & Splunk monitoring upgrades. Replacement of secure internet proxy.

Delivering a blend of business critical Video on Demand (VOD), IT (Cisco) infrastructure and playout projects, in line with BSKYB stringent project management processes. •HPUX to Linux conversion and version upgrade of business critical apps delivering red button services, with the added complication of ensuring compatibility with in-house legacy unsupported applications. •Replacement of expensive Authentication Software utilising virtual infrastructure using a combination of Quest, Red Hat & Sudosh, delivering £720,000 of capital and opex savings over 5 years. •Layer 3 & 4 firewall and switch infrastructure upgrade •Major overhaul of Video on Demand (VOD) infrastructure expanding between two sites delivering storage and WAN connectivity efficiencies, workflow rationalization and DR capabilities. Automated housekeeping of VOD asset and storage, ensuring efficient use of key storage resources. •Relocation of test storage assets from legacy live environment. •Urgent storage migration of all Production, Disaster Recovery, and Test, storage systems from end-of-life EMC SAN storage to new IBM SAN storage. •Decommissioning of HPUX hosts replaced by Linux servers and end-of-life EMC storage arrays, including establishing an end-to-end business process. •Replacement of Authentication Servers supporting On-Demand and Interactive services. •Managed the migration roll-back team supporting a critical stream server migration to Linux. •Took multiple projects to gate 2 for funding with deliver of PIDs HL design, project plans, financial dashboards and BoM. •Achieved design, finance approval and senior stakeholder buy-in for SD & HD playout workflow rationalisation, simplifying design & freeing up resources providing room for essential extra channels. •Delivered an number of quick turnaround projects within a challenging matrix management environment.
