Video Producer & YouTube Channel manager focused on strategically creating content that will resonate with the RIGHT audience. Currently at Block Imaging, bringing our B2B YouTube channel into a place of authority in our niche, so that the right audience finds us when they're looking for Medical Imaging service, because they already know, like and trust us based on our YouTube channel content. Before this I worked for 7 years as Camtasia & Snagit's YouTube Channel manager at TechSmith, more than doubling our subscriber base, quadrupling our views, and earning the Silver Play Button from YouTube for crossing the 100,000 subscriber level (with a B2B/B2C channel). For 10 years I owned my own wedding film business, Owen Video. I crafted short films from those beautiful days, and occasionally created videos with small businesses who had a story they wanted told. I was the Video Studio Director and Multimedia Support Technician for Western School District for 2.5 years in Jackson County, assisting teachers and students in learning the ins and outs of video production — from pre-production through editing and distribution. I've had footage in two Feature-length documentaries, Bully (an Oscar consideration, though not nominee), and Sacred, using footage from some international weddings I filmed, I traveled all around this country and others filming weddings. I love helping people. Whether capturing memories at weddings, or getting brands and small companies turned around to reach the RIGHT audience on their YouTube channel.
