Improving the way Tableau's family of visualization products queries your data
From June, 2011 to September, 2015, worked on Windows Holographic for HoloLens, Microsoft's holographic computing platform. Developed holographic APIs for building immersive applications making full use of the HoloLens' rendering capabilities and the Holographic Processing Unit. Previous to this, worked on interface design for Avatar Kinect, a product which added face tracking capabilities to the Kinect camera. From 2008 to 2010, built user interfaces for the Bing search engine, including the first integration of the Facebook social graph into Bing search results.
Oversaw the technology development for the Seattle Times and Post Intelligencer online network, including nwsource.com and seattletimes.com. Check out search.nwsource.com, the latest addition to the family of sites.
Blogarithm was a service to connect bloggers and their readers through email notifications. I created it with Max Minkoff in 2005. In September of 2007, we sold it to RSSFWD, an East Coast blog aggregator.
