System Engineer, Oct. 2020 ~ present responsible for Intel/AMD 1U,2U,4U server system architecture of the general project, about job function includes provide the system/technical design guide and review user/application manual document and provide each function block diagram, system topology. Review and plan all of HW, SW, FW, ME, Thermal design requirements in compliant with specification as the MB, HDD backplane, Riser board or other transfer/function board in the system. During system development also support for debugging and optimize the storage, NIC, power consumption performance and collaborate each function team to solve problem until mass production.
Major responsible for MB, GPU board and all of the daughter boards schematic design and layout review. it includes components placement, high-speed signals routing, power shape checking. In the system, I work with all of the function teams and come out of the design proposals and bug analysis and provide a solution.
I'm EE engineer work at MiTAC around 14 years currently, major responible for server project include Intel, AMD platform.
Major responible for all of signal quality measurement and ensure design quality has followed specification and design guide. About measuring instrument include the Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, Signal Generators, TDR...and Tektronix, Agilent, Lecory are available.
