I am an apparel and soft goods designer with over 5 years of design experience in the fashion and retail industry. As the chief designer at an international brand management platform, I brought my skills and vision to the brands while successfully landing each season with full collections, merchandising plans, and launching over 5 online and offline stores annually. After graduating from Rhode Island School of Design (Rhode Island, USA) concentrating on apparel, I have worked with high-end, technical outdoors, and lifestyle athleisure brands and designers in all women’s wear, men’s wear, and children’s wear categories. And led a team of 6 to design collections, manage supply chains, expand product lines, and build brand identities. Design seasonal styles for Men’s and Women’s casual, active, fleece, rainwear, outerwear, and softshell categories. Work on commercial collections with retail feedback and global trends in the clothing and accessories industry; Manage garment specifications and sample processes with advanced Adobe Illustrator skills; Design seasonal graphic prints on styles as well as trims, patterns, and technical fabric selections; Working closely with the design team and cross departments: buyers, retail, garment technicians; Responsible for liaising with international suppliers and product development procedures; Manage technical fittings and communicate comments with suppliers; Approve procedural production details: first sample, PP sample, SAS, care label, hang tags, and packaging; Follow through with product design stories, photoshoots, and lookbook-related matters; Prepare for international sales meetings and purchase orders regarding final samples; Progress orders from inquiry to bulk approval using critical path.
